The Committee on Inclusion

At St. Paul’s we advocate inclusion, representing God’s love for every human being.   Participation and leadership are expressed by all people in our church, regardless of gender, sexual identity, or orientation.

In 2015, The Committee on Inclusion was established to:

  • Discover concrete ways to show our unconditional support for our LGBTQIA members, AND to the larger community, their friends and families, and to invite them into the St Paul’s Family spiritual and social community where they will be safe and welcome.
  • Reach out to alienated Episcopalians of the LGBTQIA community, their friends, family, and supporters in the Capital District.
  • Engage with other like-minded parishes in the Diocese of Albany to coordinate efforts, encourage and promote our position within our diocese.
